Mission Statement:

Our mission is service and leadership in the provision of media and communications technology to advance scholarship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Our goal is to help instructors improve the teaching and learning environment in their classrooms by providing and fostering the use of instructional technology equipment and materials. While the primary objective of the department is to serve the Medical Center, The Audio Visual Services Department also supports and facilitates the use of instructional and presentation technologies for the benifit of the medical community at large.
